Englishman, Harrison Howard owned a small stable in Surrey. Happily married for over 50 years, he wasn’t fortunate enough to be blessed with children. Instead, the Howards bestowed all their love on their horses and the children who visited the stable to learn to ride. During the 1970s, a young boy, whose parents didn’t offer him any companionship or encouragement, went to the Howards’ place most weekends. Only, four years later, Mrs. Howard passed away suddenly. Heartbroken, Mr. Howard left England to join his brother in Australia. However, the ever grateful young boy still loved horses, so started the Harrison Howard brand in memory of this fatherly figure from earlier in his life. It reminded him of all the happy days at that time in his childhood.
